Position Purpose & Strategic Impact
This is a strategic market-building role requiring leadership, credibility, and commercial insight.
The successful candidate will:
- Shape How Instant’s presence in Australia.
- Represent our consulting and delivery capabilities to government and enterprise decision-makers.
- Guide organizations through complex transformation challenges with clarity and analytical depth.
- Act as a strategic connector between business goals and technology solutions.
This role combines relationship-building, analytical consulting, program understanding, and business development, ideally suited for a professional who wants to make a meaningful impact and step into a regional leadership pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business expansion initiatives across the Australian market, including outreach, networking, and proposal development.
- Conduct market segmentation, policy landscape analyses, and sector opportunity assessments to develop strategic engagement plans.
- Engage senior executives, program managers, and technology leaders in both government and private sectors.
- Lead workshops and requirements discovery engagements to understand business needs and translate them into actionable solution concepts.
- Contribute to solution architecture, costing estimates, delivery planning, and operational handover documentation.
- Develop and support submissions for tenders, panels, prequalification frameworks, and funding proposals.
- Collaborate with international delivery teams, ensuring strategic alignment between client expectations and project execution.
- Represent How Instant at industry forums, conferences, and professional networks as a trusted advisor.
Essential Criteria
Candidates must demonstrate:
- 5+ years of experience in Digital Transformation, Business / Systems Analysis, Program / Policy Delivery, Enterprise IT Consulting, or similar roles.
- Proven ability to work with government agencies, regulatory bodies, or large enterprise organizations.
- Strong conceptual and analytical ability to break down complex business challenges into structured solution pathways.
- Ability to translate stakeholder objectives into technology and operational requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Data Analytics, Business Systems or related discipline.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Master’s degree such as MBA, MIT, MPA, MCom, or similar postgraduate qualification.
- Experience contributing to or leading digital modernization, cloud migration, business process re-design, or data strategy initiatives.
- Previous involvement in cross-border, multicultural, or distributed project delivery environments.
- Understanding of enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, Workflow Systems, Data Platforms).
